Accountability


The Accountability Program is located within the Department of Accountability, Research & Evaluation (DARE) whose mission it is to implement the CNMI PSS Accountability System and provide support for data informed decision-making throughout the system. Assistance often comes in the form of providing  technical assistance and professional development to school and department personnel, so that every student may graduate college and highly skilled career ready.

Major Functions of the Accountability Program:

  • Supporting schools by providing data tools, publishing Annual Reports, and school report cards that can be used to promote student achievement and inform educational decisions;
  • Design implementation and support of the CNMI PSS Accountability Plan;
  • Conduct evaluations of the Schoolwide Performance Plan (SWP) in support of the CNMI PSS strategic and accreditation efforts;
  • Support CNMI pss Strategic Performance Management (to be adopted by the Board of Education)
